Super League 2 champions: Joga

Joga (yellow) have won Super League 2.

Congratulations to Joga Futsal Academy after they were crowned first-ever Super League 2 champions.

The Glasgow side missed out on a place in the top 5 despite finishing level on points with Futsal Escocia. The head-to-head record between the sides saw Joga into Super League 2.

But they have quickly made the most of their big lead over the bottom three by confirming top spot in Super League 2 with a couple of matches to spare.

They secured first place with a last-gasp come-from-behind win over bottom side TJ Slovak Lads.

That result means Slovak Lads will continue to battle for survival in the Super League Play-Offs next month.

Joga, meanwhile, have enjoyed a good start to life in the top flight as they aim to establish themselves as a Super League club.

Stand-out results include an opening 12-4 win over Letham Santos and a massive 24-3 victory over TJ Slovak Lads.

Their record across the entire Super League season with two games to go is five wins and four defeats from nine matches.
