The goals continued to fly in as the action begins to hot up in the new Super League season.

All 10 teams now have results on the board with five sides getting their campaigns under way in matchday two.

It is newboys Futsal Escocia who lead the way at the top of the table after picking up a second straight victory.

There were also first Super League wins for Joga Futsal Academy and Aberdeen Futsal Academy while last season’s runners-up Dundee were also victorious.

Champions PYF Saltires, meanwhile, have their first three points on the board but not in the fashion they’d prefer after TJ Slovak Lads forfeited their contest.

Sacachispas 5-11 Aberdeen FA

The first of matchday two’s incredible 64 goals came at Oriam in a historic afternoon for Aberdeen Futsal Academy.

Despite only entering the sport last year, Aberdeen have already enjoyed plenty of futsal success – roaring through the SFL-Aberdeen season and topping that by winning the Scottish Cup.

They continued their winning streak by seeing off Edinburgh side Sacachispas on the road.

Sacachispas had begun their campaign with a win over Galacticos the previous week but came up against a tough outfit in Aberdeen.

The opening goal came with two minutes on the clock, Chris Angus firing in a free-kick to set Aberdeen on the road to victory.

But that road wasn’t without its bumps with quickfire Sacachispas goals through Alexandru Sorlei and Abdul Ahrouaz putting the Edinburgh side 2-1 up.

There would be another twist before the break with Angus adding his second of the day and Aaron Christie making it 3-2 to Aberdeen at half-time.

Sacachispas, though, were not finished as Pedro Saez made it 3-3 after 22 minutes.

However, Aberdeen swiftly took control with two goals in a minute from Angus and Grant Campbell were added to by an incredible five goals inside just four minutes by Josh Bolton.

In amongst that Sorlei got one back for the hosts before Chris Macrae made it 10-5 and Alan Redford completed the victory for Aberdeen on 39 minutes.

Letham Santos 4-12 Joga FA

Newly-promoted Joga arrived in Perth with a youthful side against one of the most experienced Super League outfits in Letham Santos.

Santos themselves had a few new faces to bed in but it was Joga putting in the statement victory on their top-flight debut.

Sorley Youngs (No 7) opens the scoring for Joga.

Very quickly they took firm control of the contest going 3-0 up with only three minutes on the clock thanks to a Sorley Youngs double either side of a Rian Dempsey strike.

Michael Cook narrowed that lead with a header before Adam Binnie put Joga 4-1 up and a Lewis Mackie free-kick made it 5-1.

Santos’ experienced campaigner Scott Mollison made it 5-2 at the break but the visitors continued to add goals in the second period.

Fraser Smith sees a free-kick saved as Santos battle to get back at Joga.

Youngs and Mackie each added their seconds shortly after half-time before Deryn McConnell and Cooper Knox struck.

Fraser Smith got a further goal back for the hosts but there were more to come for Joga with

Youngs and Mackie each adding their hat-trick goals.

It was an impressive bow at Super League leave for the Glasgow champions with their next fixture against fellow new boys Futsal Escocia an exciting prospect in store.

Futsal Escocia 10-3 Edinburgh University

That was after Escocia backed up their own debut win with a second victory in successive weeks at Oriam.

The tight court in Edinburgh saw Russell Taylor’s side hit double-figures once more, bringing them to 26 goals in just two Super League games.

This was a clash of two capital rivals with Edinburgh University coming out on top in last season’s SFL-Edinburgh play-offs.

And the contest started in even fashion with two goals for each inside the opening six minutes.

Caleb Holness striking twice before Miguel Matas got one back on four minutes and Pedro Martin levelling matters two minutes later.

There was no stopping Holness, though, and he added goals No 3 and 4 after just 12 minutes to put his side two ahead.

Futsal Escocia (blue) defeated TJ Slovak Lads in their first match of the season.

That was added to by Callum Husband after the break before Stanislav Ploshnytsia gave the students hope at 5-3 with 13 to go.

However, Ryan Shanley punctured that hope on 29 minutes before Escocia added gloss to the scoreline in the closing stages.

Inside the final three minutes Shanley would add one more with Cameron Taylor and a Liam Kelly double bringing the score to 10-3.

Galacticos 5-14 Dundee

Last season saw Dundee earn their highest Super League finish ever and their first Scottish Cup Final appearance.

Runners-up in both competitions, they are keen to continue impressing in the top flight and they did that on opening day with victory in Edinburgh.

Galacticos, though, have shown this season they know the route to goal.

The hosts took the lead early on through Monta Madjid, adding to his three goals the previous week.

However, a first-half flurry put Dundee in command.

Rhys Fraser capped his return to the side with the equaliser on four minutes before debutant Kamil Kadela put Dundee ahead.

By half-time, Zurabi Abelashvili, Shaun Wilson, Scott Milne and Fraser again had struck to put the visitors 6-1 ahead.

Goals kept coming in the second half with Faisal Ahmed getting off the mark for the season on 21 minutes before Abelashvili and Milne added their second goals for 9-1.

Eusebio Mendes got one back for the home side but the goals kept coming at the other end.

Milne added a quickfire double on the half-hour mark before adding his fifth of the day on 36 minutes while there were further goals for Ahmed and Wilson.

Davie Scholtes and Benjamin Dodd were on target for Galacticos late on to complete the scoring at 14-5.

Next up for Dundee is a home clash against Letham Santos while Galacticos are in Glasgow to face TJ Slovak Lads in mid-October.
